I ran across this article and was surprised at the headline. Regardless of what you may personally or politically think of Jerry Kieschnick, isn't it a bit alarming to hear of a Lutheran church leader referred to as "pope-like"? Especially given what Lutherans confess about the office of the papacy.

is when you don't have services. So I say, have services everyday during Holy Week. People might not come, but better to think that people *might* come. I can assure you that no one will come if there is no service of the Word or Sacrament.

Their signs are almost always stupid. What the heck does this one even mean anyway? Is it supposed to be funny? Is it supposed to be a commentary on Methodist theology? On this particular church?
